We are a laid back hard-working family, that enjoys sharing where we are blessed to live and work. So many of our guests have stepped on our property as strangers and left as friends.  We are honored to be a part of each wedding and will do our best to help you host the wedding of your dreams.

You can find more details below, but the best way to get a feel for us and our farm is to come out for a meet and greet.  The internet just cannot do our place justice.

How weddings work at Zedland Farm

Each couple that walks onto our farm is looking to showcase their personalities, their style and of course their unique love story.  To aid in this quest we offer different package options so that each may choose what will work best for them.  Our aim is to make each option crystal clear to make sure there are no surprises or disappointments.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

Standard Venue Rental

$3500

Occupancy 200 - No overnight guests

Our standard rental is perfect for the DIYers and those with friends and family that insist upon helping out!   We have a daily check in and check out process for everyone's protection, but other than that there is no interference from the owners or staff as long as the contract details are followed.  You'll be responsible for setting up, tearing down and cleaning to leave the venue as you found it.  Of course if anything unexpected comes up with the property, we all live nearby and someone will be on call to pop in and find a solution. 

 

If you are interested in adding staffing we have different options that will fill in any gaps and do all the heavy lifting!  (Details Below)
 

We believe that with the inclusions of the standard rental it is easy to host a very comfortable, fun and beautiful wedding.  

Event Rental Details

 

 

2023 Rental Rate: $3500 +tax 

Weekend Rental 

Friday at 4:00 p.m. -Midnight

Saturday  8:00 a.m - Midnight

Sunday     8:00 a.m. - 10:30 am

 

(No overnight guests)

 

Deposit: 50% non-refundable deposit required.       $500 Security Deposit (Check Held)

Max Occupancy:  200

Wedding Season runs from Mid May to Mid October

FAQ'S

Utilities Zedland farm is a seasonal business.  (We do not have heat or air conditioning in the venue.)  We have 200 amp service. We do not have a generator and cannot be held responsible for situations outside of our control. 

Food: We do allow potluck style dinners, but all maintenance of food must be taken care of by renters or their chosen caterer.  If staffing is chosen staff will NOT assist with handling food, clearing tables after the dinner, or be responsible for renter's personal property.

Alcohol: Wisconsin State Law allows renters to provide alcohol to their guests, but it CANNOT be sold.  All alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender. No carry-ins will be allowed from renter's guests. 

Firepit:  We have a firepit that can be used when a staffing package is chosen.  It will be lit and maintained by Zedland Staff

Discounts:  We do not split up weekend rentals or offer discounts for less time or space used

Bridal Suite

The first floor of the farmhouse will be available for dress drop off Friday evening and from 8 AM Saturday until the start of the Ceremony.

 

The space provides a spacious living room, private bathroom separate from the venue, dressing room with natural light, refrigerator, and wifi.  (The first floor bedroom space is used exclusively as a Massage Studio for Sowing Synergy

 

Additional wedding party space is located in the milk-house attached to the barn.

Staffing Service Packages

It's always nice to have an extra set of hands when working on a project!   A large portion of your setup and tear-down time will be spent moving tables, chairs, benches, picnic tables and such.  Most of these items will be provided by Zedland Farm (or another rental vendor if upgrades were chosen by the couple).  We'll provide the muscle to get the job done.  

In addition, our staff will be the hands behind the scenes keeping things tidy, stocked and well taken care of.  We've gotten quite good at making the day run smoothly. Choosing this package will provide you and your guest with more time to enjoy the weekend!  

 

Staff will not assist with or handle any food.  They are also not responsible for any lost/broken items they may be asked to handle.

Staffing Assitance: $500

 

Friday:

 

  • Floorplan setup before you arrive.  

  • Seating setup and tear down for Rehearsal Dinner

With your direction we can also

  • Assist with unloading

  • Distribute decorations 

Saturday

  • Parking Attendant as needed

  • Meeting and directing vendors

  • Transitions (Ceremony to Dinner to Dance)

  • Floorplan rearranging in the case of inclement weather

  • Trash removal throughout the event

  • Bathroom restocking and cleaning throughout the event

  • Last Minute LOCAL public errand running 

  • Maintenance of Campfire

  • Assist with loading (at your request and direction)

Sunday

  • Teardown and storage of furniture on Saturday evening and Sunday morning

  • All deep cleaning after the end of event - Bathrooms, Bar, Sweeping Venue

  • Outdoor cleanup of litter

Helping Hands: $500

Day of coordination, extra hands to run errands and get all the details just right.

Bartending Service Package

A licensed and insured bartender is required under the rental contract.  You are welcome to hire whoever you like as long as they can provide the required documentation. It will be necessary to purchase a separate insurance policy for your Bartender if they are not insured and cannot be listed as named insureds on the couples event insurance.

In response to requests from our couples we offer bartending service as an option.

Bar Tending Service Package

This rate is for the bar staff only.  Our bartenders only work with what the couple brings for service. We do have a kegerator with multiple taps that is available for use  for no additional charge when using our bartenders.  All alcohol, soda, cups, condiments, napkins, and the like are to be provided by the couple.
